Upgrading and downgrading
Otnox's modular pricing lets you scale your subscription up or down at any time without lock-in periods or penalties.
How to upgrade
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Toggle on any add-on you want to add (Monitoring, Projects, AI)
- Check additional markets if needed
- Review the updated total and click Save changes
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period.
How to downgrade
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Toggle off any add-on you no longer need
- Uncheck markets you want to remove
- Click Save changes
Downgrades also take effect immediately:
- Monitoring removed — all monitoring profiles are paused (not deleted). If you re-add monitoring later, you can reactivate them
- Projects removed — existing projects become read-only. You can view them but not create new ones or move stages. Re-adding Projects restores full access
- AI removed — TenderScan becomes unavailable. Previously generated analyses remain visible
- Markets removed — new tenders stop flowing in, but historical data is preserved
Prorated billing
Otnox uses Stripe for billing with automatic proration:
- Upgrading mid-cycle — you pay only for the remaining days until your next billing date
- Downgrading mid-cycle — a credit is applied to your next invoice for the unused days
tip
If you are evaluating whether an add-on is worth it, add it for one billing cycle and review the value before committing long-term. There are no contracts or minimum periods.
