Company profile

Your company profile is the foundation of Otnox's AI matching. A well-configured profile means more accurate relevance scores and fewer irrelevant tenders cluttering your feed.

What the profile contains

Your company profile includes:

  • Company name and registration number
  • Industry sector and description of services
  • CPV codes — the Common Procurement Vocabulary codes that describe what you supply
  • Preferred markets — which countries you want to monitor
  • Company size and turnover range (used for filtering tenders by qualification thresholds)

Editing your profile

  1. Navigate to Settings > Company Profile
  2. Update any field and click Save
  3. Changes take effect immediately — the AI engine recalculates relevance scores on the next data refresh

CPV codes

CPV (Common Procurement Vocabulary) codes are the EU standard classification for procurement. Every government tender is tagged with one or more CPV codes. When your profile CPV codes match a tender's CPV codes, the relevance score increases significantly.

You can add multiple CPV codes to cover all the products and services your company offers. Use the search field to find codes by keyword, or browse the tree by category.

tip

Add both broad parent codes and specific child codes. For example, if you provide IT consulting, add both 72000000 (IT services) and 72220000 (Systems and technical consultancy) for best coverage.

How the profile affects AI scoring

The AI scoring engine weighs several signals: CPV code overlap, buyer history, contract value range, geographic proximity, and keyword matches in the tender description. Your company profile provides the baseline for all of these signals.

Multiple companies

If you manage procurement for more than one legal entity, you can create separate company profiles and switch between them using the company switcher in the navigation bar. Each company maintains its own CPV codes, markets, and team members.
