Scout for macOS

Scout brings matching finds, reminders and published updates to your Mac menu bar. Open Otnox when you need the full record and analysis.

Install and connect

1. Download Scout from the official Scout page.
2. Open the installer and move Otnox Scout to Applications.
3. Launch the app and sign in with your Otnox account.
4. Look for the OX icon beside your Mac clock.

Scout supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Your company profile, categories and accessible markets guide the finds it shows.

Review a find

• Take saves the tender to your Otnox favourites.
• Pass dismisses the find.
• Snooze brings it back for a later review.
• Open the tender in Otnox to read the source information and investigate further.

The fit indicator helps prioritise review. It does not predict whether you will win.

Notifications and reminders

Choose the notification mode that suits your work: finds, stronger matches or deadlines. Check quiet hours and pause settings. Urgent reminders may still appear during quiet hours, depending on your settings.

Allow notifications in macOS and keep Scout running with an internet connection. You do not need to keep the Otnox browser tab open.

No finds or notifications

Check your Otnox profile and market access, then Scout's pause settings, notification mode and macOS permissions. Published award updates depend on the information supplied by the procurement sources.
